Experience quick, safe and easy installation

With the new Volvo locking system, you can install or change the teeth in minutes, maximising uptime. The retainer and the tooth are assembled and supplied together and no spring replacement is needed during the tooth life. What’s more, the smart system works with a reusable locking pin that can be mounted on both sides. Because the Volvo Tooth System is a genuinely hammerless solution – with no special tools required to install or change teeth – it contributes to improved safety.

Tests have shown the new generation Volvo Tooth System to last longer on wheel loader buckets than the previous system. The new generation has greater resistance to wear and a self-sharpening design, which contribute to longer change intervals and, therefore, deceased spend on parts and servicing. The quick and easy installation also saves time and money, as well as contributing to greater machine uptime.

Volvo teeth are available in three varieties – General Purpose, Abrasive Material, and Abrasive Material and Rock – for all L60 to L350 wheel loaders in Africa, along with Flush, Top Leg or Bolt-on adapters.

General Purpose teeth are a great all-rounder, suitable for material with a moderate level of abrasion, such as sand or gravel. The small undercut makes it ideal for cleaning work.

Abrasive Material teeth are designed to handle abrasive material, where extra penetration is required, such as crushed or blasted rock.

Abrasive Material and Rock teeth are perfect for heavy-duty applications with a high level of abrasion, such as blasted rock or hot slag.
